Terms

Terms of use

By using nrthmail.com or its API you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

Updated 3 October 2026

The service

NRTHMAIL gives out disposable, receive-only email addresses and a public API to read them. It is free, needs no account and has no paid tier. Inboxes, messages and files are deleted automatically, as described in the privacy policy and the API limits.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, without any warranty. Mail can be delayed, refused by senders, or lost; the service can be down or change without notice. Do not use NRTHMAIL for anything you cannot afford to lose: not for banking, not for your main accounts, not for password recovery of accounts you want to keep.

Prohibited uses

Do not use NRTHMAIL to:

  • break the law, or receive material that is illegal to possess, including any sexual content involving minors;
  • commit fraud, run phishing, or receive stolen data, credentials or payment details;
  • harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, including NRTHMAIL;
  • evade bans, or create accounts elsewhere in bulk against that service’s rules;
  • attack or overload the service, for example floods meant to exhaust storage or bandwidth, or probe it for weaknesses without telling us;
  • pass off an address as an official contact of a company or person.

We may block addresses, delete mail or refuse traffic that does any of this, without notice.

Addresses and keys

Anyone can send mail to any address. Whoever holds an inbox’s token can read it; keep it to yourself. We cannot recover lost tokens. Reserved names cannot be claimed, and an address stays locked for 30 days after it closes.

Content

Mail belongs to its senders and recipients. We claim no rights to it and process it only to show it to whoever holds the token, until it is deleted.

Liability

As far as the law allows, NRTHMAIL is not liable for any damage or loss from using the service or from not being able to use it, including lost mail, missed codes or locked-out accounts.

Abuse reports

Report abuse to abuse@nrthmail.com. Include the address involved and roughly when it happened. Reports are read by a person.

Changes

We may change these terms or end the service. Changes appear on this page with a new date. Using NRTHMAIL after a change means you accept the new terms.
